As Southwark council move to chainsaw over 10 acres of woodland and excavate hundreds perhaps thousands, of old graves and memorials, campaigners have taken to the air to demonstrate the extent of Southwark Woods and why it is cherished by so many people.

John Edwards, local resident, has made the video using a drone to fly over the 100 acres of Camberwell Old and New Cemeteries, and show the extent and beauty of the woods and old graves.

Please take the time to watch it and understand why 8,000 people are now calling for Southwark council to declare the cemeteries 100 acre nature reserve, with respect for the dead and woodland for the living.
